The FTP Aluminum Intake Tubes are a true 3 inches of added "RAM AIR" velocity. The stock plastic tubes neck down to 1.6 inches!! that's 1/2 the size of our intake system. the FTP tubes give more surface area which mean more air velocity and more power, Not to mention very nice cosmetics to add to your engine bay.
